Liapades is situated on the west coast of Corfu, 20 km from Corfu Town at the northern end of the Ropa valley.
It is a traditional village which as yet has not been affected bt tourism. It has traditional Ionian architecture, with the village being a maze of small roads, tracks and trails.
There is a central square in which is the beautiful St Anastasia church that dates from 1600-1630 and has been fully restored to its original state.
There is a tourist area centered around the unspoilt beach of Liapades, just 800m from the village, which has many supermarkets, shops and cafes.
